The most obvious motive for facilitating the attacks of 9/11/01 was the desire of the Bush/Cheney administration, and its backers, to catalyze the support of the American public for attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan. But quenching the thirst for dominance over these two countries was only the initial phase of a larger plan to transform the Middle East through progressive military intervention. Dubbed for popular consumption after 9/11 as “The War On Terror”, this plan was originally detailed more formally in a document tilted Rebuilding America’s Defenses, published well before the 2001 attacks, by a neoconservative think tank known as “The Project for a New American Century” (PNAC). Dick Cheney was among the cofounders of this strategic planning group. The “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” document made this bold, and chillingly predictive, declaration:

Heidner’s research documents the evolution of The Black Eagle Trust Fund. This huge fund had a critical relation to the 9/11 attacks.
